Default $16 lost with TT

Villian was uknown with stats of about 21/15 over only 40 hands. Pf is a call the only way to play this or is there merit in pushing? Once this flop comes should I bet or check behind?

i like calling preflop without a solid read. I check behind here and fire 350 on a brick turn if he checks to you again.

why would you check the flop?
if he has a K and an undercard falls, your still dead.
an over card falls, and you might fold the best hand.
a flush card falls, and again you might fold the best hand/let him draw for free.

I say bet the flop, something like 300, and find out where you are. if he raises, it probably means a king at these stakes. If he calls, i would check the turn.

calling pf here is so bad. I think all-in is reasonable if you have any kind of read at all. I think folding is only reasonable with a strong read.

Either shove or fold preflop.
I would shove here.

Laces,
If calling is bad, an all is reasonable with a read and a fold is only correct with a strong read then what do you recommend? Normally I just fold this but I'm pretty tight. If villian has been regularly raising in this spot then I can understand a push. It sounds like you are suggesting raising to something like 600 which I can't imagine can be right at all and is probably the worse move here.

Why? Do you think this is a move w/ rags by CO? I don't know the correct play, but I'd be scared of getting in a coinflip or worse against a bigger stack.

IF I call here I usually bet about 300 on this flop representing AK who wants some action.

Is a 4xPFR standard for this guy? If not it usually smells of AK or 77-QQ, someone who has a hand they don't feel as comfortable with.

I think a shove is too low reward for the risk here. You are certainly behind the range of anyone who calls you, and it's only level 3.
