What car should I buy?

$50,000 max price(want to stay around $40k). I useally buy cars that are a year old.

Strongly leaning towards an 06 BMW 550. Maybe an Escalade but they are a lot of money, the gas mileage sucks, and the resale is horrible.

I'd probably start with drinks at home then call a cab and go to a restaurant without a reservation that has a long wait list. This way you and the chick can just drink wine for an hour before you sit and get good and drunk. Order another bottle at dinner.
