Re: STTF SNG->cash thread
[ QUOTE ]
Villain is 37/17/8 in only 35 hands. I dont have much of a read, but I have 3 bet him preflop before and he folded. Considering his short stack, how's my line here? Full Tilt Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter BB: $112.30 UTG: $132.40 MP: $202.55 CO: $45 Hero (BTN): $144.20 SB: $93.65 Pre-Flop: K A dealt to Hero (BTN) 2 folds, CO raises to $3, Hero raises to $11, 2 folds, CO calls $8 Flop: ($23.50) 9 Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) CO checks, Hero checks Turn: ($23.50) 7 (2 Players) CO bets $6, Hero raises to $36 [/ QUOTE ] This looks fine to me. If you c-bet that flop it has to be with the intention of calling a shove. |

Hand two is fine. I often do the check thing here trying to rep a really big hand with the raise on the turn. [/ QUOTE ] Checking behind this board texture reps a weak hand. |

Can't have much, ok what's change on the turn? Diamonds, ship it I'm not folding a any pair. |

Re: STTF SNG->cash thread
Cha
Hand 1 - I do just limp behind the clowns preflop. This is one of those times that doesn't look great to C-bet, but you might find yourself surprised how often it folds around when you donkishly bet 1/2 pot into multiple clowns. Yeah you might not fold out any pairs, maybe not even a 5, but you don't have to be right that often and you are more likely than not to be drawn out if you are ahead. Also, there's that once in a blue moon where you improve and stack someone. Hand 2 - Maybe I just feel contrarian at the moment, but calling the turn is guaranteed +EV and raising isn't. You are more than a 2 to 1 dog if he has a Queen and I don't think he's folding one. You might be able to call the turn and make a sick call on the river if you don't improve. |

Button is 43/11/1.93 and loves to gambool, but doesnt seem to be a complete idiot.

Re: STTF SNG->cash thread
Yea, I fold the first time and happily call the second. I don't give line by villain credit ever.
