Did this river just kill my action?

Villain is 23/15, decent and has $63 behind on the river. An easy push on a brick river imo, but what do I do now? Push, check-raise or small Value-bet for maximum value versus a decent TAG?

his hand range is like 77/88/99 maybe 55/66/65s i doubt a decent tag has A7 or 4x unless its 44, so out of all those hands he only bets 65 on the river if you check, so id valuebet like $47 and watch him make a hero call with 88.

too many hands check behind.. too many hands fold to a push if he's decent.. Small value-bet sounds right, 30-35 or something.

But I more like a $10 cbet. Then you can bet $25 on the turn and easily put him in on the river.

If he's calling $47 and leaving himself with 16 then he's calling $63. Having said that I don't think he calls a shove or 47 with 88 enough for it to be the most +ev bet. I like $30-35 getting 3-1 he may not be able to resist.

push river and hope he has a 4 or a flush. you're not getting called by anything else. i hate this small value bet nonsense.
