Default Travelling Cross Country - Casinos not to miss (Southern Route)

Some of you may remember that I was planning to drive from Georgia to Las Vegas over the period of 2 weeks and was looking to plan a route, etc.

I have decided on the southern route through Tunica and over. I know I am spoiled by Tunica and their comps... so give me the cold hard truth.

On my list of places to stop at right now (casinos):

Ameristar in Kansas City

Sandia Resort in New Mexico

Casino Arizona in Arizona (duh)

Are there any other rooms I should not miss along the way? Do ANY of these rooms have good comp or poker rates I should know about?

Alt route further south.

Sliver Star Philadelphia Ms. great NL action and a tournament about everyday.

The Horizon in Vicksburg is a little ragged but the action is great if you like NL (another Vicksburg room was set to open but I'm not sure which one, Ameristar maybe).

Hollywood Bossier & the Horseshoe Shreveport (any limit).

Then head up to OK to one of the new rooms.

But it's hard to beat the 10-20 at the Horseshoe in Tunica.

Best of Luck

Yeah I am having a hard time finding a reason to leave Tunica. Between the softness of the games, the free food as long as you are playing, and the poker rates on the rooms. It almost makes me cry to leave... I have 2 weeks to get from Atlanta to Vegas and I am seriously considering spending a full week of that in Tunica.
