If you read the article (which is a pain since its all jumbled) they let him resign during the investigation. Which is a complete crock. Confiscating drugs for yourself? The article also says he took a bunch of coke that was supposed to be used for police dog training for a 3 week coke binge (for his wife i guess). Scumbag cops that ruin our faith in the police need to be dealt with appropriately, or that loss of faith is completely justified.

I couldn't listen to the whole recording because the operator's voice was like nails on a chalkboard. Did anyone else get immediately repulsed by her nasally whine? Really, I have a high tolerance for awful voices (I come from a family full of whiny Jews, so I'm used to it) but even I couldn't stand what this chick was spewing out. I don't think there are more than 2 voices in 10,000 that are that revolting. It was Fran Drescher bad, but with a totally different, unique kind of awful tone. I almost couldn't concentrate on what they were saying, so I just closed the window.
