Default NL100:KK OOP 200bbs deep

Villain is a reg seems good thinking, decent winrate over couple 100 hands. 27/11/2.5/300 What are some better lines to take here?

Well I was trying not to play a huge pot oop with kk on this board here, I'm assuming you think b/f turn is better? Do you think hes less likely to bluff a turn bet?

i would bet alot of money that the "good reg" is terrible

bet turn regardless

he has 78 on the river

There's no reason to think he would bluff raise over a turn bet with the info you posted, so yes, b/f is much better.

If you are really scared of a turn raise after betting the flop, consider checking the flop and betting the turn if he checks behind.

But the flip side is that you give a free card on a draw-heavy board when you likely have the best hand. If you bet close to pot on the turn, a "good, thinking player" will understand that he doesn't have correct odds to chase his draw and fold.

As played, fold the river - this is 78 like 90% of the time.
