Have to bet 1 NFL Game this weekend

I'm not very into sports betting, but I'm in a big family pool. We take it pretty seriously - there is a trophy involved and everything. This was my first year invited into the pool and I'm tied for 1st overall on the year with my uncle. Winner this week gets the $ and the trophy.

So I havet to pick one game and I'm thinking the Jets +8.5. They have great depth in the secondary, safeties have been playing really well and don't give up the big play. They had the one big loss to jacksonville but other than that were in pretty much every game. I can see them losing but not by more than a touchdown. They went into NE before and won and I think they have a shot this time around.

Any advice on this pick? Anyone think I should take a different pick?

Rely on the same method you used to pick games throughout the year, you don't want to go too much on our feedback and end up losing the pool. I like the Cowboys to bounce back this weekend, I can't argue with your Jets pick for your reasons stated plus some other intangibles (ne safety rodney harrison out), but I wouldn't be shocked if Brady won this game by 2 td's.

if i had to pick one it would be dallas +3 over seattle. both teams are overachievers, but i think dallas is a little underrated because of their poor recent performances. my 2nd pick would be your jets pick. i like both.
