During the Spurs/Heat game on ESPN tonight, the announcers mentioned that Ginobili polled more popular than the Argentinian president, Vincente Fox.

lol, for those who don't know Vincente Fox is the former president of Mexico. The president of Argentina is Nestor Kirchner (and the president-elect is his wife).

NBC's football night just turned out all the studio lights I guess to conserve energy or something for their green week promotion.
Ummmmm.....ok.

[/ QUOTE ]

I felt embarrassed for Costas and Collinsworth. Collinsworth had a WTF look on his face the whole time.

[/ QUOTE ]
I turned on some extra lights just to spite their retardedness.

HA! i swear to god i did the same thing...

me: [censored] them, i'm gonna turn on all the lights in the house as long as they're on...

HAHA...glad i wasn't the only one..

The MNF booth was making fun of them late in the game. Tirico was cracking jokes about it and had Jaws and Tony really laughing, not the fake TV laughter either.

A lot of the comments quoted in this thread really weren't that bad at all and some of them were actually 100% correct and it was the poster who was REALLY in the wrong.

QFT.

It's not hilarious or ridiculous when an announcer accidentally misreports yardage, gets a name wrong, or says something that seems obvious. A lot of these are really reaching--announcer gaffes can be really funny, so let's try to find some better stuff here.
