Default 2 basic 2-7 TD questions

1) Your dealt 278xx on the button and its folded to you. You raise and are called by the big blind who draws 2. DO you draw 2 or 3?

Same scenario except this time your in the small blind and its folded to you. Is this hand worth playing? If it is do you raise and draw 2 or 3?

2) Its raised in ep and you call in the big blind. You both draw 2. You improve to a strong 1 card 8 or 1 card 7. Is checking the right play here or is there any value in leading out?

Any advice appreciated

Am I nitty for most of the time just folding 278, even OTB? I'd draw 2 if I'd play it.

I always lead when I improve to a 1 card draw and it's 2:2.

IMHO you are. I'd raise and draw 2 most of the time and occasionally fold depending on the action before me.

I've occasionally checkraised bright-new holdem converts who both play bad hands and haven't yet gotten over continuation betting. But otherwise no. Giving a free card when you're still drawing just sucks too much.

Doing anything other than this by default is just plain wrong. I would c/r someone that played like me on the first draw in your 3rd situation where you improve after defending BB because I bet after first draw UI then check second draw if we drew same when I'm in position and I still don't improve but against the people that I would expect to c/r me sometimes in this spot I am checking anyway in position.

Sorry, I was a little tired when I wrote this.

OP said he always leads, and I was asking if he never checkraises against aggressive opponents when he can be pretty sure that they'll bet when he checks.
