Having trouble figuring this out, though I'm feeling a push.

Limp, and only bet the rest of your chips if an ace or jack hit. Call the rest of your chips preflop or on any flop. If bet into on the turn or river, evaluate that case-by-case.

I really hate this spot...

SB is all-in no matter what and BB calls with any 2...

If SB wins, he's back at 600 and your the one goingout with the shortstack (800+400 = 1200, you have 1435..

I just push all-in (you have most probably the best hand), if called hope someone except SB wins!

Limp. If button pushes, and BB calls, you can fold, it's unlikely but will happen some small % of the time. So for that reason limp is best. You call any other circumstance of course.

There is a 25 chip ante at 400/800 on Party, isn't there? So *if* you were to fold and SB only doubles through, he's still forced all-in before you are if you continue folding.

Even so, I

First post here. Registered because I have to say that you must push here. The button will put you in if you limp and if you are going to fold this hand you should take up knitting.

What I think Tigerite is thinking is that we can evade a showdown a small % of the time and let Button's monster take care of SB for us. If not, then we are pushing...

So indeed, with this fact, limping with the intention of calling any raise on any flop is good. If by any chance Button/BB tells us direclty (by pushing) he has a monster we can fold!
