What fireworks are you guys talking about? There is no huge fireworks on July 4th like the Strip has on New Year's Eve.

QFT

There are some local displays, nothing on July 4th though on the strip.

After some googling I found this show last year. It looks pretty cool with a carnival and food setup, but you have to pay for admission.

The Hilton had a great show last year, right after they shot off a bunch at the LV Country Club. We had lawn chairs behind the convention center and had a great time.

There are traditionally three larger displays. Way in the SE corner of Henderson, Sunset Park and out in Summerlin.

I haven't been to the Sunset Park display, that's where the Mayor usually goes I think. The Henderson display is really good, but the park activities are pretty blah. Summerlin last year had a great concert lineup outside with some great BBQ, but the fireworks were disappointing.

There was a huge display last night on the strip. It looked like it came from Caesars or Harrahs. It lasted quite a while too.
