dynasty is right. unless it has changed, last year there was no public fireworks display on july 4th. i was at the mgm and all over the strip nite of july4th last year.

The Hilton had a great show last year, right after they shot off a bunch at the LV Country Club. We had lawn chairs behind the convention center and had a great time.

There are traditionally three larger displays. Way in the SE corner of Henderson, Sunset Park and out in Summerlin.
I haven't been to the Sunset Park display, that's where the Mayor usually goes I think. The Henderson display is really good, but the park activities are pretty blah. Summerlin last year had a great concert lineup outside with some great BBQ, but the fireworks were disappointing. |

There was a huge display last night on the strip. It looked like it came from Caesars or Harrahs. It lasted quite a while too.
