Looks like Marvin Harrison will be out for Sunday, He didn't practice on Thu and Dungy said He'd be doubtful, if that matters to anyone.

[/ QUOTE ]

medically cleared to play but that doesnt mean he'll play.
sounds like hes pretty dinged up.

why is everyone ignoring the o/u?

the patriots have faced one good air defense, they aren't throwing 3 TDs this game. indy is tied for the lead, giving up only .71 TDs per game through the air (tennesee the only REALLY bad passing offense they've faced, although jacksonville's isn't anything to write home about)

UNDERRRR

[/ QUOTE ]

Prop bet, Brady o/u 2.5 TD passes?

how much? i really don't think i have much (if any) edge, but it's something i do believe

dungy has since added, that while harrison is pressing to play, he fears sacrificing the team's season if Harrison plays and suffers further injury. he also states, he's not decided whether to play him or not, and will make that a game time decision.

somebody needs to tell dungy, if harrison does NOT play, he may have no season to save.

It would be smarter not to play Harrison so when they lose they have a reason as to why they lost. Also, if they do win without Harrison just think of how good they'll feel in the playoffs when they're playing with him.

Either way its a win win for the Colts.

What??? This isn't Pop Warner football. You don't sit your studs cause you want to have a good reason for losing. You sit them cause you don't want to flush the rest of your season down the toilet by risking them getting more injured than they already are.

I guarantee you that the LAST thing on Dungy's mind is not playing Harrison so that they have an excuse for losing or could feel even better about winning without him.

Huh? 7-1, defending champs, who have owned the Pats in their last few encounters? While a kickass match-up for fans, this game is otherwise meaningless. Indy has the Patroit monkey off their back, and neither of these teams is inexperienced enough to put a lot of stock in a mid season matchup where both are on their way to division titles, win or lose. I'd be pissed if I had plopped a ton on Indy, but Dungy is doing the right thing to protect him.

meaningless?!!! dude, we're talking homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. have you looked at indy's remaining games, and compared them to NE's? seems to me, indy HAS to win this game to win another super bowl: their schedule is too tough and NE's too easy to give up this game and expect someone else to scandal NE. ain't gonna happen this side of armageddon.

This thread is pretty long...

Indy is +200 ML here. Why does this scream no-brainer to me?
