Re: Week 5 NCAAF Early Lines Thread
Just wanted to announce early that USC at Oregon +200 or higher (which I think we'll see) is my pick of the year. It took 4 turnovers including a fluke touchback on the last play of the game for them to lose to Cal and you know they're not going to get too much national respect after the home loss. The Ducks definitely should have won that game.

Re: Week 5 NCAAF Early Lines Thread
My Oregon 100-1 to win the title would have looked infinitely more possible if they had won it.

Re: Week 5 NCAAF Early Lines Thread
Yes, people that really know football all know that teams never lose to worse opponents and that turnovers are all skill. They also know that you should never take the price into account on a moneyline and just bet who you think will win.
Oregon moved the ball way better than Cal. They outgained them by 97 yards. Without the super-fluky interception or the super-fluky fumble, both in the last 2:30 of the game, they beat them. If either of those plays go Oregon's way, you'd be looking at about +130 on the ML vs. USC. Now, it's likely going to be north of +200. I think there's going to be tons of value on the Ducks there. |
