Exactly. If you can't get a decent shot from the tee or if you waste strokes hitting it OB then it'll take a huge effort to post a decent score. That's precisely my problem. If I hadn't consistently two-putted I would have gotten some atrocious scores.

The tee shot is very important, no question about it. Starting and finishing each hole well is the key to good scoring.
