sel,

I've been pondering this very interesting hand for quite some time now. Lots of issues to take into consideration and lots of options as to how to play this hand. After giving it a few hours of thought, doing some hand range weighting analysis to figure out equities, and thinking through various meta-game issues at play in this hand, I've decided that the best option for you here is to call.

If you don't snap-call in this spot vs described villain you might as well put your money in a 2% savings account... I mean, safer that way...

Both live and online, whenever anyone, whether shark or fish, makes a ridiculous over-shove like this, it's ALWAYS the nuts looking to get paid off.

So I would have insta-folded. I mean it's obvious. There's no point in sitting there whining and moaning about long-shot coolers when it's an easy fold. You ever play poker? These coolers happen all the time, and the key to winning poker is to avoid losing your stack when it's your turn to get coolered.

C'mon, just look back how many hands you play on average until someone over-shoves all-in into you? It barely ever happens. When it does - I have a simple rule - if I dont have the absolute nuts, I fold.

Keeps me out of harm's way and saves me a lot of agonizing.

EVERY single time I have done this live, I had the mortal nuts shown to me except for once where the guy showed nut flush when a straight flush was possible.

Easy fold IMO. Anyone arguing otherwise is a dumb online player that plays 50,000 hands a month but none deep-stacked.
