Default TP + FD Vs Drooler

Is it acceptable to play this hand passively? His minrr preflop scared me a little, I have seen him do this once before with 1010. He tries to play trappy but in general he is just really bad. Assuming i dont hit my hand do you think I am ahead?
Villain is 69/14/1.6 but only 60 hands

The vast majority of the time, your greatest equity is on the flop, therefore I'm betting this nearly every single time. Factor in that he's 69/14, you bet I'm betting here.

You really have to ask yourself that if a club comes, are you really going to make much money having NOT bet the flop? Me thinks not usually. I ask you this:

1) Why in the hell did you call preflop if NOT to hit a flop like this?

2) How do you expect to make money here w/o betting the flop?

I think when you didn't bet the flop, God killed a kitten....

I probably make a smallish bet on the flop, ~$30.

yea, you need to be betting this flop. it sounds like you're allowing one hand you saw affect your decision making here. i would bet ~30 like Nick said. you hit a hand you needed/wanted to hit after calling the 3bet. if you're going to worry about sets and zero fold equity you should be folding this to the 3bet.

Betting $30 sounds good.

I've been playing too much stud recently to check this flop. I'm ahead and I bet. If he even flinches at this thing, I stick it in. I hate getting snapped off and it's been happening all too much the last couple nights.
