[/ QUOTE ] Brazil, I stayed up late the other night to watch it on the BBC. It's some times let down by its small budget and is showing its age a bit but overall it’s a great movie and one that often overlooked when people talk about De Niro’s movies. |

Re: Do You Recognize The Picture?
AJW:
Correct. I tried to find a still that didn't make it too obvious. Not even sure most people would recognize De Niro there. double edit: Which ending did the BBC show? (might want to label post spoiler when you respond) There are multiple endings and the one that Gilliam wanted was not the one that made it into the theaters. The studio basically told Gilliam to [censored] off and edited the movie down to under 2 hours and gave it a more "acceptable" ending. Others: Try to find pictures that are from the movie, but didn't make it onto posters, ads or DVD covers. |

Lowry is chassed through a series of nightmare scenarios only to ascend in to the sky in full armour hand in hand with the leading lady. Cut to Palin and his boss who stair at Lowry still bound to the chair and starring blankly into space and Palin declares "we’ve lost him" </font> What are the alternative endings? |
