Default Australia: yes or no?

I've never been there before -in fact I have never left good old Europe.

But now the question is do I go to a free trip to the Aussie Millions in Australia with my bf....
or
....Do I just do my work experience like everyone else.

Lifetime opportunity but I can't just go away for like 12 days can I?

My boss doesn't really mind but I get a bad feeling..

What do you think I should do?
What would you do?

Because I feel bad about not going to work experience (I enjoy doing it, it's what I want to do later)

in all seriousness, go on the trip. you won't get as many chances to visit different parts of the world as you might think, unless you get very lucky. go for it. your boss will understand. you will not regret going; you'll regret not going for the rest of your life.
