you put people in danger by attempting to pass on the right.

This is not even close to the most dangerous thing I do while driving and pretty much has nothing to do with the cause of the accident, and in the future I plan on continuing to pass on the right whenever slower traffic does not move there.

some dude is chilling in the left lane and everyone is passing him on the right

Clearly, this is who was at fault for the accident.

I spun my car out once on the highway. It was moderately busy so there were plenty of cars on the road. To this day, I don't know if the guy actually swerved into my lane or I was just surprised to see him there and overreacted. But I swerved to the left to avoid him and started skidding. I overcorrected to the right and did a 180 on the highway. My tire came to rest (as in touching) against a light pole but my car was undamaged. I stayed put for a minute to collect myself and drove off, no cop, no nothing. I never complained about a bad beat again.

d10 - glad all is well. In the future you may want to reconsider going that freaking fast..especially when slick or rainy.
Nothing bugs me more than somebody driving obnoxiously fast in and out of traffic in rain or snow thus pretty much endangering everybody around them including me.
Whether or not this situation was the fault of the other guy it does sound like you are somewhat similar to these reckless drivers who scare the crap out of me so.

Well I was cruising at 80 which is about as slow as I'd ever want to go in a 70mph zone without some extremely bad weather, it was just a bit faster at the time cause I was trying to pass, especially after I saw the SUV coming in on me, I floored it to try to get out of his way.

But yes I probably am the type of driver that scares the crap out of you.
