Re: Jesus Camp: WTF?
[ QUOTE ]
Well If I look at just my own education, including multiple years of Catholic Schooling, I can't recall ever being told to either plan or execute violence in defence of the faith or anything else. [/ QUOTE ] Most American schools justify American use of violence to achieve its national objectives beyond just self-defense. Do you disagree? |

[ QUOTE ] PS I am no longer Catholic. I transitioned to agnostic and am now studying Buhddism. [/ QUOTE ] Ever taken note of www.bswa.org? I like it a loooooooootttt. [/ QUOTE ] Wicked! I have been mostly looking at Thai websites lately (me being in Thailand and all) and it's been, well, slow going as my thai reading is not so great yet. That is a pretty decent site. Tx. Re: Jesus Camp: WTF?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] I don't think this is new or necessarily indicative of a widespread radical christian epidemic; it's just a whackjob place where kids get indoctrinated to grow up into brainwashed murderers. It's been going on for years. [/ QUOTE ] FYP. While I agree with the sentiment, the whitewashing that goes on around it shouldn't happen. I love how it starts by showing how the kids are learning to be holy warriors and kill the heathens, and [b]then in the end the guy says the camps will help children work together with those they disagree with. [/ QUOTE ] Classic Orwellian doublespeak. |

PS Where is the thread highlighting the slightly more prominent and widespread Islamic schools that have already pushed their indoctrinated children to violent action? [/ QUOTE ] Better to light a candle than curse the darkness. |

Sounds a lot better than "aggressive expansion and genocide." |
