Variance : MTTs made me sick

On my last 4 tourneys, i was completely sure that i'm the best player from the remaining 18 but i finished 13,11,10,3. This variance makes me sick. Every tourney worst player at final 18 keeps sucking over and over, i keep making true decisions over and over and i lose and get like silly 4x buyin or whatever [censored]. I was saying that MTTs are %95 luck %5 skill but now i think they are pure luck.
