Re: Brandi update
[ QUOTE ]
"Brandi Hawbaker has not returned from the last break. We are an hour and twenty minutes into this round, meaning she's been gone for forty minutes. Prior to break, Brandi had let us know that she has been feeling sick for the last few weeks. We'll keep you updated as her stack continues to be blinded off." Man, the poker world's warts are showing up big time at precisely the wrong time. Neverwin's failure to pay, Vinny's Ungar impression and Brandi's getting so rattled by some anonymous dude that she wants a bounty on his head. Weak across the board. Re: Brandi update
ok, how bad is this in a scale of 1 to 10:
David Chiu's stack was whittled back down to 3,600 when he got involved in this hand. Chiu limped in for 400, an opponent raised to 2,000 and Chiu called, leaving himself 1,200 behind. Before the flop could be dealt, Chiu's opponent declared himself all in for 15,000. The flop came down {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Chiu called the all in and showed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} while his opponent tabled 7-7. The turn was the {3-Clubs}, the river was the {J-Clubs}, and Chiu doubled up to 8,300. |

The Numbers You've All Been Waiting For
After four days of Main Event play, the official numbers are in! 6,358 players entered the 2007 WSOP Main Event, creating a prizepool of $59,784,954. 621 places will be paid, and each player who cashes will be guaranteed at least $20,320. First place will win $8,250,000. 2,415 fewer players entered the Main Event in 2007 than in 2006, but this year's number is 739 higher than when Joe Hachem won it all in 2005. |

Re: Brandi update
I have never listened to the band Godsmack (but I recognize the name from running into them when searching for Bad Religion songs to download), but I'm sure 10% of the field played in a hobby band in their teens that were way better.
So could pokernews please stop talking about Sully Erna? |
