The problem with trying to get someone not to tap the tank is that by doing so, you are tapping another tank.

This is an excellent point, and I'm ashamed to say I have never given enough thought to in the past. Nice one.

My favorite is to ask the dealer "Do they allow gambling in this casino?"

or quote Marcel Luske from 2005.

People absolutely have the right to comment on other's play.

You do realize that most cardrooms have a specific rule that states that this is not the case, right?

I'd like to see a link to this, where it's stated specifically thnat I can't say, "GREAT call" etc in a tone of obvious sarcasm. If most cardrooms have this rule, it's got to be written somewhere, so post it please.

If such a rule exists, which it's very likely it doesn't, would it be fair to say that cardrooms would turn into a joke if it were enforced? Keep in mind prestigious events already get criticized for the laughable attempted enforcement of the F-bomb rule. How would you possibly sort out calling the floor every 10 seconds to decide which criticism warrants attention?>

And no, Phil hellmuth isn't my idol, do us a favor and stop watching 3am WSOP reruns and then using the tired Hellmuth example. I'm advocating people's right to freely speak their mind, not saying that players should prima-donna themselves for 15 minutes at a time for purposes of getting televised attention.

FireStorm, what are your thoughts on randomly shouting "Fire!" in a crowded theatre?

Interesting. What are your thoughts on aksing a question has no bearing on the topic whatsoever, during a poor attempt at making an analogy?

Yelling fire in a crowded theatre when no fire exists creates unnecessary panic and the potential for injury, etc. It also has no positive reasoning behind this. Thus, I don't advocate this type of behavior. Anyone with basic logic can see that saying "how can you donk it up with K6" is not equatable to the fire example.

It's a rule. How strictly is gets enforced is a separate question.

Just because you CAN do something, does not not mean you SHOULD.

Up to the individual to decide what they "should" do. I'd still like to see where it is stated that commentary is against the rules.
