Did I miss the exit to valuetown?
Villain is a Loose-passive fish (51/0/1.57)
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG ($9.35) MP ($7.45) Hero ($9.95) Button ($9.45) SB ($8.80) BB :#A500AF(Villain)/ ($10.15) Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.4, 2 folds, BB :#A500AF(Villain)/ calls $0.30. I would never bet this river against a competent opponent, but against a fish, is 2-pair worth putting it out there and folding to a raise? |

No, I am ok with checking here, he could have a 10 but scared of the flush and so not getting aggro for that reason. I think you played this hand well

Re: Did I miss the exit to valuetown?
check is good but i think its kinda close espicially if you have and aggro image. his hand could easily be a K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]x that has a worse 2 pair, and fish will probably pay you if you've been pushing them around.
its close but i still like the check |

Re: Did I miss the exit to valuetown?
I like betting the river.
You just aren't getting raised unless he flopped a royal. I see the line of check-call flop, check-call turn, (river blank) river c/r like never. So the question is does he have an A or 2pair, or does he have a T. Since he called a flop bet he's not drawing to a gutshot without a FD too. I doubt he has a T unless he has KT (which he didn't raise) or TT with the T of clubs. |
