Default 50 NL 6 max : aj on button, complete spewage?

Right firstly im having a rough time of it at the moment and im not playing my A game during this hand, slightly tilting (i tend to not monkey tilt just lack clear thinking) when this hand came up.

Villan is a complete donk IMO who thinks he is some kind of superstar playing 51/21/1. He has 3 bet light with k10o before and on another occasion when he took it down. I have been aggressive in late position.

Please be harsh as i need constructive criticism as Im doubting my game at the mo.

Im a getting FPS on the flop and what about the rest of the streets?

he might have had 66 in the hole, but there's no flush, chances of a straight are min. Thought u bet on 4th.

Hopefully he didn't trip up.

What happend?

Definitely call river. I'd probably make a bigger flop raise.

he played this perfectly, I have managed to cut my losses on these paired boards. When an aggro player bets $1 on the flop what does that tell you.

He wants action. He is trying to let you catch up cheaply. Hence the check on the turn trying to induce a bluff.

The pot sized bet on the river really gives it away for me though. What hands could he be doing this with after that flop bet? Any over pair to the board, or any two. Both have you crushed.

The next time you see a aggro player play like this on a paired bord, I gaurantee you it will be trips

Odds are good this flop missed him too but what is he 3betting preflop?

His 3bet PF and min bet look like two big cards (AK, AQs) missed flop or got a draw. So I often bet raise his bet to about 10 or 11 hoping to take pot down against weak/tight villains. You should either call or raise enough to make the draw unprofitable. This fellow sounds like a calling station so calling the donkbet is probably better.

As played, his flop play looks like a flush or straight draw (less likely but given his history at 53s might be in his range or am I thinking this cuz of the river?). Would he just smootcall with trips/overpair?

Given my read, I probably bet behind on the turn about 3/5 pot for value since it can't have helped him and he seems more like a calling station than anything. Checking to keep the pot down is fine.

The river bet is tough because he doesn't seem like a very agressive player, so odds are he has made a st8 or set or slowplayed trips. You have represented a pretty weak hand and might have induced a bluff but I am not calling very often.

There's no way you can put him on A2o, I think you played it fine.

I think he has the boat, nothing else fits the betting good besides 44. why would he bet so little with AA/KK/QQ off the flop? I like the turn check, I fold river though

if he's all loose like you say - you have to bet the turn - he will call with two overs.
