Anyone trade in a flat PS2 recently?
Well finally my 360 is due back tomorrow which means my ps2(the flat one) will be collecting dust again. So I'm thinking of trading it in and getting NCAA Football 08 and maybe an intercooler, and Rainbow Six: Vegas if I'm really robusto.
I went to Gamestops site and they had games listed, but not the console. I have like 3 controllers as well as a bunch of games. Oh yeah and should I play through Disgaea: Hour of Darkness before I trade in the PS2? I never really got a chance to play it and feel really bad. |

I heard the inter cooler is pretty bad for the 360 and it voids the warranty, so i would stay away. Certainly play Disgea. Otherwise sell it, doesn't it command like 100 bucks?

Well I'll check on Nyko intercooler, but it just snaps onto the back by the power cord, so I don't think it would void the warranty since you don't need to tamper with the casing.
Wow 100 bucks would be super robusto. I dunno if I feel like playing Disgaea right now so I might just say forget it. |

new one's sell for 100 bucks, I'd think it wouldn't be worth trading it.. I'd just keep it if there are any games you missed out on and want to play later on.

Sell it on eBay. I just sold an older one with 2 controllers, a memory card, and no games for just under $100. There's still some value in them.

Maybe I'll try EBay. I don't have a seller's account and all that though but I'll just figure out how to do all that I guess.

[/ QUOTE ] Store credit is like trading in a car: it's easier than selling it yourself, but you'll get hosed on the value. I've really gotten some great value on some of my video game stuff I've sold on eBay. As long as you don't let them get old (say, more than 6 months), you can probably get 50-75% of a game's cost back by selling on eBay. It's my new thing to do with games that get dated easily (sports games mainly). |
