KQ 3 bet pot against TAG

Normally I fold here pf but this villain has 3 bet me about 5 or 6 times already and to be honest, it started to piss me off. By this point I already had 4 bet light a round ago against villain and he insta mucked. Thoughts on hand are appreciated.

I doubt he is folding anything here except AK, but this is still pretty good line to take and stacks up pretty good versus his calling range (overpairs).

I would have folded PF though.

I like it. If he has a hand this time and loses, the tilt factor goes a long way for him. Add in fold equity + overs and a flush draw and I think you are quite +EV here.

FWIW I was about 99% sure villain was 3 betting light especially after his insta fold vs my 4 bet earlier on. Against this guy I felt like folding here is just begging for him to run me over for the rest of the session.

I would never fold here, but I get sticky with my cards ;-), pushing is really the only option with the amount of monies already in the pot. Worst case he calls and you only have 9 outs, best case he folds, most when he calls you have up to 15 outs.

Could 4 bet before the flop?? But otherwise as played i think line is fine. You have 9 outs at least, plus fold equity. All in all i believe the way you played is +EV

Against 88 99 1010 JJ you have 15 outs and you're a favourite. Against a set, KK and AA you have 9 outs and around 37%. Against QQ, slight underdog with around 48%.

If you pokerstove his range you're ahead most times.

Villains stats are 21/15/2.7 over a few hundred hands. I thought about 4 betting again but since I just did it the round before I figured he was much more likely to shove on me here.

This is fine, KQs is a great hand to go to war with in position against a light 3-bettor. NH
