For this one I have not seen goodfellas.

Is there a story behing this? How can you have not seen Goodfellas?

FWIW, I voted Taxi Driver, but there would definitely be times I'd prefer to watch Goodfellas. Taxi Driver isn't a "half-watch while playing poker" kind of movie, Goodfellas can be. They're both incredible movies, it's a little like comparing apples and oysters.

Comparing Scorsese to Spielberg is like comparing Hitler to Lynndie England. Appears to be horrible off-topic analogy week in OOT?

I agree that both are excellent films. And I love them both. But Goodfellas really is more of a fun movie whereas Taxi Driver is a substantive film. It's like comparing "Pulp Fiction" to "Saving Private Ryan".

I'll see if I can find the old file. I did it senior year of high school (which was 2000) so I'm not sure if I have anything other than the printed paper.

I agree that Taxi Driver is the better film.

However, I often apply the "if I happen upon this movie while flipping channels, will I watch it to completion?" test, and Goodfellas wins this far and away.

I like the idea, but it might need to be tweaked. If I followed your formula, Weekend at Bernie's would be the greatest movie in the history film.
