Justin West has some new thoughts about the scandal. He now thinks that there was cheating going on. O RLY?

He still says there was no superuser, though.

[/ QUOTE ]
Do you wonder why??

[/ QUOTE ]

I really think he's just retarded. "Contraversy"?

When he was in complete denial, he said people were writing to him saying, "You are a fool." I wrote to him to correct a common mix-up of the words 'fazed' and 'phased' and to reiterate that he is a fool. He replied with a dictionary.com link to the word 'colloquialism'. lol no.

I really think he's retarded.

Rika,

"(p.s. this goes for tons of pokersites but NOT pokerstars, that's why I'm so thankful they insured our money at a legit bank, A+ job stars, way to be a step above everyone else)"

While I have no reason to doubt PokerStars claims on this issue, pretty much any poker site can claim they do this. And even if they actually do, there's probably nothing to stop them from accessing that money.

yeah except abso admitted to the superuser...

Oh, really?

In which of their various statements - none consistent with the previous - do they admit to a superuser?

The Joe Norton letter? No. He admits

a sophisticated scheme to manipulate internal systems to access third-party computers and accounts to view hole cards of other customers during play without their knowledge

[/ QUOTE ]

That's not a superuser account. Maybe you think it is.

Maybe "superuser account" is a convenient but innaccurate label that really is intended to convey the ability to read hole cards. I suggest that innaccurate terminology is to be avoided as we level accusations.

You make a great point there Ape.

What was the timeline of when AP purchased UB and how does that correlate to the move to Panama and "shoot the moon play" for our Frat Farts?

I doubt that they are smart enough to do some limited damage one site in order to maximize the movement of clients to the more profitable (and perhaps more corrupt "new site").

Who is advertising more these days? AP or UB?

Then again, they are on drugs. And in a foreign country.

I also can't really think of how he could have made 500k playing cash or tourneys considering I never saw him at any of the higher stakes tables before the last few months. Either way I think he got 500k into his account illegally and I would assume somehow that money was taken illegally from the players. AP needs to come out with the names of these players they know had superuser ability. They have no right to not tell us who they are.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think these people are going to jail, so if you reveal names, tipping perps off before the cops have sufficient information to arrest them, then they are going to run for the hills.

[/ QUOTE ]

These "perps" already know they did it. We don't have to tell them they did it.
It appears that they have already left for the hills.

If the choice is between "hack" and "superuser"... superuser clearly is more accurate.

If the public will understand one but not the other... USE THE ONE PEOPLE GENERALLY ACCEPT AROUND HERE.

That was my favorite part of the story. Maybe he's into irony.

And at some point after the cheating has started (payup) they are on a plane to Colombia.
Sure- it could be a vacation- but what fun would it be to speculate that way amirite?

i hesitate to mention this because it seems so trivial, but I remember the first time I withdrew from AP to neteller. The amount was something like $669.69 and I requested a full withdrawal. the total amount disappeared from my account but only $669 showed up at neteller. The $.69 went mia. At the time i remember thinking that was kinda [censored] of AP but didn't make a big deal over it. (the numbers are made up because I don't remember the actual amounts.)

That's not much, but over time I suppose it would add up.

[/ QUOTE ]
This would be Office Space and Superman III, not Die Hard 4 and Under Siege 2.
