I have read both your offers and am considering them. Can this go to coinflip? I think someone mentioned a different tiebreaker but I can't remember who it was.

ok so basically next person to vote for you is in. Bravos is of course the x-factor. Eskimo/roundtower can guarantee themselves a final 4/5 spot but voting you now, or they can band with herbie and rely on bravos to be the tiebreaker

and if bravos doesnt vote, val gets the kill. ANd he probably kills you monk to be true to his word.

So your smart move would be putting your vote in for herbie asap

Yes, 5 is definitely safer.

of course, last minute switchers do face the stigma of being untrustworthy, and are always the first out of their own alliance, so there is long term value to staying loyal to our alliance. The three of us have proven that we will follow our word in the game, and have never even hinted at betrayal.

we need 5

and when we're down to 5, i'm going to be the vote everyone is trying to buy (zurv/mets vs eskimo/??)

and that means i'm almost definitely going to be eliminated in 3rd since i'll be the 3rd wheel regardless of where i go

so i'm kind of just going along for the ride right now and i'm open to offers

Well, since Herbie's come out gunning for me this morning, I guess I have no more time to wait.

I'm going to make the same promise I made 8 days ago: you vote for me, you're in my alliance, and I will do everything in my power to protect you. I spent all of last week fighting the people trying to wreck the alliance we have, so you know I'm not full of [censored] here.

Herbie was surely playing around with the idea of backstabbing the alliance the day dmk was elected mayor. That was the last and best time to do it. We prevented him from doing that by not letting him be mayor. It had nothing to do with loyalty.

You shouldn't be rewarding his duplicity then by giving him an alliance now. He's trying scare tactics to get myself or mets kicked off - but only because we're the two most active players besides him. He sees us as a threat, but the fact is, if he gets elected mayor today, it will be seen as a coup, and he will likely win the game. I have made enemies (they're not calling it "herbie-ism"), and I think it's ridiculous to assume that I have their votes locked up.

Roundtower - are you willing to vote for me today?

[/ QUOTE ]
I'm happy with this alliance on these terms
