I don't need any audiophile advice in this thread. Everything is going into the one box. No seperate components.

But srsly, everything looks to be in order. Should be a nice machine once it's all together.

EDIT: I might look into upgrading the graphics card, but that's it. And as for HDMI cables, you get what you pay for. so a cord that costs 8 dollars isn't gonna give you top quality picture.

No of a good medium price brand for cords? I see they have an hdmi-dvi cord for $250. [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]

yeah, don't buy that. I'd look to spend around 40 for a pretty decent cord. Don't get suckered into buying a Monster Cable, it's a ripoff.

don't do the Kworld TV tuner. Go with Hauppauge. I have used both the PVR-150 and the HVR-1600. The drivers are sound enough to work with multiples if you wish to record with 2 or 3 cards on different channels... and the quality is at least DVD quality on the High Def. I don't have HDTV so I can't compare any better than that.

Doesn't the HVR-1600 have the ability to record from two channels at once, or watch one record on the other? That's the one I'm looking at now since you are the second person to recommend Hauppauge and that one is HD.
