Default Poker in Class

I know it probably all depends on the professor but what do you think happens to me if i should get caught playing some poker online during a lecture...if its just a slap on the wrist i dont really care...but if she'll screw my grade up i do care...opinions plz

If participation counts, then I guess she could get mad. Otherwise, who cares, just tell her that if she was a better lecturer, you'd pay attention.

I personally couldn't give a [censored] what students do in my classes as long as they don't disturb others and don't start screaming, "OH MY GOD, YOU [censored] FISH, HOW COULD YOU MAKE THAT CALL AND SUCK OUT ON ME LIKE THAT!!?!"






An occasional "Ship it, holla" whispered in the back is acceptable.

If there's no attendance why even go to lecture if youre going to play poker? Seems like you would be more efficient in your room.

For me, my initial intent is to go to class & take notes..& then oops, suddenly I am playing poker.

And yes I have yelled "Ship it" out loud, got some funny looks but most of my friends knew what it meant.

very true as well, i hate class, i just read the books and teach cuz my professors for engineering hardly speak any english
