Default Set HU - raise for value?

Villain is pretty loose, somewhat aggressive and calls down lightly against me.

Raise the river for value or just call?

Folding is out of the question so do you think you have 67% equity here?

I just call, make a note if he did this with some marginal hand. "Donked scare river marginal"

Next time he does it I raise/call.

I agree with the first paragraph Id never raise here, but just cuz I see him donk something crappy on the flush card once HU doesnt mean im raise calling the next time he donks the scare card (cuz if he has garbage its not like hes calling a raise) unless I have a very specific read hes cr'ing flushes like always... if the pot is 3 ways on the river id never raise the donk

I think villain's range here is, in order of likelihood:

1. A weak K like KQ, KT, K9 that doesn't want you to check behind lower PP's and knows you will have a tough time raising him because of the scare card.

2. Air. Busted straight draws and diamond draws. I see river donk bluffs on scare cards all the time at Stars at these limits.

3. Flush. If he's aggro you would think he might put in some more action on the flop with a flush draw. I also think he would CR a flush on this river a lot.

Unfortunately he probably folds air to a raise and 3bets all his flushes.

I think this is pretty close, I would probably raise/call if I'm running good

Yeah, better note is "c/c flush draw on flop"

To oversimplify things for a second - there are 2 types of players in LHE - those trying to flop a draw so they can c/r me, and those trying to hit their draw.

you need hands that call vs. hands that 3-bet vs. hands that fold. it's not a call or 3-bet card then.
