Default Off-Topic: VIP Offers

Sorta interested in what MSNL players got offered. Feel free to post your offer.

I was offered $355 for 2160 points (or $710 for 4320), sorta meh. I'm in the silver category.

well, it's sort of complex.

you get 12 points for 20 raked hands of 1/2 or 2/4 (I think).
18 points for 20 raked hands at 3/6. (I don't play enough 5/10 to have paid attn to those points)

Additionally, you earn at 1.5 times that rate if you're silver, and 2x that rate if you're gold. It takes a bit of calculating.

Oops you're right, I posted the wrong numbers.

Blinds PartyPoints Earned
$10/20 18
$3/6, $5/10 12
$2/4 6
$.50/1, $1/2 4
$.10/.25, $.25/.50 4
$.05/.10, $.02/.04 0

I mean, it's not much compared to what many here make, so just nobody cares or pays attention to it? Still, $710 is not a bad bonus, even if you play 600NL. Oh well.

Can someone explain this to me? I was planning on redeeming my points for a sterling silver and gold moneyclip.

Edit: I just read this over, how is this bad?
3245 per week which is easy... for 215 dollars. That's 8 weeks x 215.
That's 1720 + whichever I make over that, and then... another 860. That's $2500+ for nothing?

There any catch, cause this seems to be one of the better promotions.

Edit 2: Wtf?
Note: The promotion runs from Wednesday, February 8, 2006; 00:00 a.m. (ET) to Tuesday, April 4, 2006; 23:59 p.m. (ET) for eight separate weeks (Wednesday through Tuesday).

Am i looking at the wrong promo?
