i prefer to check the flop here, as betting and being raised leads to miserable spots. plus theyre unlikely to float you light since you've bet into 3 dudes on a flop like that. and your hand is at the bottom of your flop betting range (I assume), which makes things tough oop.

as played, I put out a decently sized blocking bet on the river here. he might call with a hand like T9, or probably any Q. and he'll shove anything that beats you. obviously it sucks if he bluffshoves here, but I think most of his hands have showdown value, and thus won't turn their hands into bluffs too often. if you think he WILL turn his hands into bluffs often, then bet weaker on the river with intention of calling a shove.

I bet $1,000 on the river, and he called showing KK to take it down.

Blegh, why would you bet here? AQ is pretty much the worst hand you can show up with here.

The minraise on the flop looks so brutal. It's clearly to get rest out, or to get some extra info on them AND you. Then he can pot control heads up in the pot vs u on the rest of the streets. Flop fold. I only like the lead if it is to get extra info out of the preflop raiser. When he minraised you, you got that information.
