Thank God order has been restored. These past few years had been a little confusing.

Much better, I actually agree with your list. I also think I need to see a little more from Tampa before I think they are legit, but their division is so awful and Garcia is so good.

Taking advantage of a beat up, tired and dispirited Chicago defense left out to dry by their anemic offense,

[/ QUOTE ] The Bears defense wore themselves out, the Bears led TOP by 3 minutes @ the half. The Cowboys won the right to be #1.

The Packers had a great game plan against the Chargers and I guess they have to be #2. I just can't imagine that the NFC is that bad. But if Farvre continues to not make mistakes their defense is good.

Seattle is going to win games at home and not many on the road. This week is a huge game in the NFC West.

I liked both Tampa and Carolina coming into this year. If Delhomme doesn't play this week the Bucs will have a leg up.

Took you a while to get off of the Saints.

Depending on the injury report this week the Bears could be in real trouble. If they bring in Griese and try to play ball control with the state of their defense like it is and their running game, they are screwed.

The Eagles took full advantage of a pourous Lions defense. It will be good for McNabb to feel good again after that Monday night game. He will still struggle a bit in the next few weeks, but they are obviously capable of putting together big offensive games.

Maybe the Redskins saw your rankings and really thought they were the second best team in the NFC? In all seriousness, this is what has killed them for two years. They look fine and then make some sort of poor offensive adjustment that stalls them cold, give up a few big plays on defense and crap their down by a score. That last set of downs was pure Keystone Cops.

Right now I have it as:

Dallas
Green Bay
Seattle
Philly
Chicago
TB
Carolina
Was
SF
Ari
Det
NO
Min
NYG
STL
ATL

Fink,

I'm asking for your opinion. Panthers continue to get their running game going and Delhomme gets healthy, do you see them as the winners of the NFC South? The poll is pretty even right now. You watched Garcia every game last year that he played in, can he lead that TB team?

Who's defense is better too? All I heard all offseason was that TB's was aging. If they really found a fountain of youth then they can be scary.
