Default Pull the trigger on the river?

Comments on all streets would be appreciated , I played this hand really weird from the get go. Do most of you like a 3 bet pf with a 1/2 to 2/3 continuation bet on the flop? That move has been killing me as of late hence the decision to call, thoughts? As played should I have raised his flop bet or more +EV by just calling, and what if he had bet 10-15 on the flop whats the plan then.

Turn is strange too, I don't know if I like my bet here but I'm losing it so maybe I need a bit of a sanity check with this hand.

Villan is showing to be a bit on the lag side after only 25 or 30 hands so not a perfectly defined image yet.

pf: I 3-bet here. You take it down to a button raise a lot.
flop: Argh!! $6 is so weak, I can call here with a gutter and bdfd. I would consider a raise with a read of what weak c-bets mean.
Turn: If you are going to bet it is $20. Check is fine too to see if he gives up on the turn.
River: 5s changes nothing, you are done, and actually have a little bit of showdown value against AT, KT type hands. This is a check/fold river for me.

I would guess there is more EV in a 3-bet pre but trying to hit a flop vs a possible lag donks range seems like a juicy prospect at the moment, should I not be thinking this way ever?, or is the type necessary mix up you need in you arsenal vs people you have a lot of history with?

When he calls the turn doesn't this narrow his range to a draw or a weak pair?
