Default Failed Steal Attempt

Villain was 17/9/6 over 90 hands. No history. I figured I could take him off this hand. My image was TAG and hadn't gotten out of line.

His raising range UTG is probably pretty narrow, especially since he's only raising 9% of his hands + your OOP.

No set, no bet.

Why are you trying to steal from an UTG raise that has shown strength on 2 streets?

I'm not stupid. Of course I'm up against AA KK by the turn but this is a sweet board to steal on don't you think? Can't have the nuts all the time can we.

I'm sure that if the player with the kings posted this hand here everyone would say " he has a set, fold"

In general i think it's a bad idea to try to make people fold overpairs. From my experience it hasn't been going very well.
