U.S Poker Bowl - complete joke or potentially viable?

the first PokerBowl™ is taking place in vegas from oct 20-23

despite the participation of many pros from a wide variety of players (tv mtt pros, known online mtt players, high stakes live and online cash players), i think it is kind of a rough concept that is going to be executed poorly.

a lot of the stuff seems silly, but there are tons of pros that will be in the spotlight there, and that means, i can challenge team vs team to high stakes HU matches, and get tons of action. so yeah, gonna be rich.

seems kind of cool. the idea of disallowing baseball signs but allowing chip placement signs is kind of dumb though. obviously you can't police collusion in this format so they might as well just make all forms of collusion legal.

so you're on a team??..that's terrible. You buy in but your buddy donks off the chips and you fight. Poker is a one man game for a reason... Depending on others' play makes the tourny more stressful. This will die faster than the PPT (if thats possible....thanks Matt Corboy and Chris Bigler..and fake crowd track cheering in the background)

plz note, last i checked, the rules officially stated that cheating was OK and in the spirit of the game.
