Whoever that second person is, though, their email address is scott@rivieraltd.com, and their IP (which is, as I said, the same as User #363) is identical to a certain Scott Tom's home cable modem.

Oh Jesus

BTW, I haven't said much yet, but I've been following this the whole way, and you guys have done some amazing work. I'm so proud to know you.

No joke. I am astounded by the computer savy people around here. From initially having the suspicion of cheating, looking at hands, analyzing the data, tracking down hand histories, tracking IP adresses, and reaching all these conclusions. Everything appears to be coming together and starting to make sense. Amazingly good work.

So Scott Tom, is he still involved in AP after the sale to UB?

[/ QUOTE ]

W/O being nearly as technically literate as a lot of you in this thread, is it possible that, following the sale to UB, that Scott Tom knew about the acct. 363 and used it then?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm pretty sure AP acquired UB, not the other way around.

NL Fool;

The whole Kahnawake thing is kind of complicated but you are pretty much correct. The real goofy thing about their operation is the gaming commission and the actual server farm are two separate entities. When I was there, people were hosting out of the server farm www.mohawk.ca without actually having their license approved yet.

The way it works is the Gaming Commission gets a yearly fee for each license holder, and the server farm charges monthly for bandwidth. The server farm is definitely making money hand over fist and tries to squeeze in as many sites as they can.

As for your statement regarding nobody ever being turned down for a license. This isn't entirely accurate I do know that one very well known poker site had their license request refused because one of the principals had been charged for bookmaking.

I think they redid their application by either removing this person from the list of principals or by doing something else and eventually got it approved.

Another sportsbook that got refused ended up going to Costa Rica and running the entire operation from there.

I also know of many disreputable people who in my opinion were outright crooks and thieves who got approved so its not like they are doing a great job of policing their territory.

Saying that the IP address matches Tom Scott's HOME cable modem is a pretty serious accusation. Are you sure that it is not a computer in the Absolute office?

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes. I can't say who told me that, but someone I know spoke to the people at Amnet TV & Cable (the cable modem provider) and confirmed that it was a residential cable modem.

Wow. WTF.

Also, since it seemed to be skipped over, pokerstars.com, ultimatebet.com and fulltiltpoker.com are all hosted at MIT, along with many other gambling sites.

The important things to take away from the whole rivieraltd.com thing was:

Uses same NS servers as AP.

Was pointing to a block of IPs given to AP by MIT.

More importantly, all the DNS records (both A and MX) for that domain have now been pulled from colosseum.com's NS servers, although the mail server is still running. Scott is paying attention to this thread it looks like...
