Seriously. Please ban these people for a long long time.

I agree. These threads will possibly be the biggest thing that's ever happened on 2p2, and while the previous one was great in its investigation, we've gotten off track into questions and arguments that are either uninformed, inappropriate, or just annoying. Goofyballer's last few posts were funny, but unless you are that good, please think before posting.

Nat (and the others),
I am just a random observer and obviously don't speak for 2p2, but you have a lot of supporters here. If there's anything we can do... (I have no idea what that'd be, but maybe someone will think of something)

A little more info:

First, Mohawk Internet Technologies (MIT) host TONS of online casinos, including UB, FTP, PS and PP (at least before they shut down in the US). Their location makes them super convenient for online gaming companies wishing to cater to American clientèle. Also, it looks like all gambling sites hosted there MUST be certified by the KGC.

I can't tell if they actually host AP or not. They don't host their website, but if someone who isn't at work wants to figure out what IPs their actual gaming servers use, it might be interesting.

KGC relies on another company, Gaming Associates, to regulate the "fair play" part of their regulations. I contacted them via email about an hour ago, but if anyone has free overseas calling and wants to try, their number is:
+61 2 8884-7900 (Australia)

Finally, that rivieraltd.com domain was only registered this February and as stated, was registered by Domain Discreet. I couldn't figure out much of anything about that company other then a lot of scam sites are registered by them, as well as some propaganda sites and also dundermifflininfinity.com. The only contact info for them I could find was 1-902-7495331.
Furthermore, the server rivieraltd.com points to appears to be nothing more then a mail server.

One other interesting thing I found out about this domain is that it has the same authoritative DNS servers as absolutepoker.com, run by a Toronto hosting company called Colosseum (colosseum.com)

/edit this company hosts AP's website.

Nat,

i think it should go without saying that you've helped a ton so far, but if you need to duck out of this because of safety concerns, don't even worry about it. chuddo/teddy and whoever are much less in the public eye than you are and i don't blame you for being worried about pissing off the canadian government and some costa rican roughnecks.

I have some intimate knowledge of the KGC, I was involved in a site was hosted out of Kahnawake Mohawk Territory and was (still is) licensed by the KGC. There are 1000's of sportsbooks/poker rooms or casinos that are hosted or have servers located in Kahnawake Mohawk Territory.

I actually worked in an office that was located in Kahnawake and spent 3 years making the trek from Montreal to Kahnawake to do work at the office that was located in the Plaza where a few of the internet sites do customer service or run their operations.

Pretty much every big poker site or casino at leasts co-locates their servers in Kahnawake because of its location. Sites that are hosted in KGC must have a gaming license before they can locate at Mohawk Internet Technologies, (MIT). The reason you are seeing the Mohawk.ca domain attached to the superuser is because Absolute likely has their mail server at MIT (in kahnawake) and it kind implicitly guarantees that this whole thing was an inside job.

If there was any doubt before that someone from absolute whether it was an employee or owner, was involved in this cheating operation. I think that doubt has been removed now.

I can also categorically state that the KGC in no way has any ownership interest in Absolute Poker, I don't think they do a very good job of policing their license holders, but its not because they are crooked or own pieces of the sites. They just have far too many sites operating out of MIT and can't possibly keep up with the workload.

I'd also like to add that Scott Huff and I are doing a weekly radio show at Barry Greenstein and Joe Sebok's site(thepokerroad) and will be covering this topic. If anyone has some intimate knowledge or if Nat or whomever would like to come on the show PM me.

It's something more. TBH, I'm scared to post more stuff at this point. (Note I haven't received a threat, it's just what I think might happen)

I might remove myself from this whole thing from this point forward. Discussing the issue with family.

Has anyone who has final tabled a tourney at Absolute recently gone back and requested the same info for their tourney? In particular, ones that happened shortly before this explosion.

Who's to say this wasn't going on more discretely previously?
