Default Sumo-interesting QQ hand

UTG here is 46/5.2 and UTG+1 isn't a spewer. What do you think?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Button ($85.50)
Hero ($149.15)
BB ($24)
UTG ($100.30)
UTG+1 ($127.05)
MP1 ($210.10)
MP2 ($136.50)
MP3 ($69)
CO ($59.55)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG calls $1, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises to $4</font>, MP1 calls $4, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Button calls $4, Hero (poster) calls $3.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $20</font>, UTG+1 calls $16, MP1 folds, Button folds, Hero calls $145.15 (All-In), UTG calls $80.30 (All-In), UTG+1 folds.

Yuck. Tough spot because you really have to decide pre-flop whether you think that your hand is best or not.

I think that I fold to the LRR, although another option could be a stop-and-go on a non-AK flop.

I dont like his LRR either. Smells like aces or kings to me, although AK or JJ is a possibility as well. Be sure to hit a Q:-) I think you're about 50/50 to win this.

I don't think a player that non-aggro would do that raise on crap. I think he more looks like a "I'm tired everybody folds to my pocket aces when I raise so I just limp..." kind of player.

If you put him on JJ+,AQ+ (which is 4.2% of the hands) your winning chances are approximatly equal. In that case you would clearly want him to fold. If both villains fold you win all the dead money ($40), if one of them calls you win half of the dead money on average ($10) and if both call (say you still have equal chances) you win 1/3 of the dead money (which is $0 since there are no dead money). In other words - the foldier the better!

wierd, to me somebody w/46vpip is a donk, I don't care how nonaggressive they are. donks do stupid things so I figured he would probably call with Ace high here because of the odd way I played my hand while I could push UTG+1 off of whatever he had. he had KJo and my hand held up while UTG+1 claimed to have TT that would have turned a set. I thought it was a hand that could spark conversation/thought though.

edit: FWIW I thought that 55 is more likely than AA here.

Yeah. It's easy to underestimate the donk factor...
