Default searching a certain user with a date range

I want to search a specific forum for all posts by a specific poster from 03/01/06 to 01/31/07 - where and what do I type in the boxes?

I've tried searching using just his name in username box here and in archiveserver; I've tried all kinds of date ranges in the cockeyed date boxes; I've tried his name in the "subject/body" search terms box. The only two results I've ever got were either "0 results" or posts OLDER than 12/xx/05 on archiveserver or showing me his posts on forumserver only back to ~12/xx/06.

It seems easy enough if you use both the Newer Than and the Older Than boxes at the same time.

Hu's the guy and Watt's the forum?

Here's what i'd do,

Put nothing in the search terms box. Put the poster's name in "Username" box. Select your forum of interest on the left side. Then use the date boxes and do something like

Newer than - 20 months
older than - 7 months

you might have to adjust those dates cuz i'm just guessing at them.

Sorry Mike Haven. I'm just bored. I thought it would be more fun to figure out the search dates than go through my bills .

I'm just kidding witya, katyseagull. Your explanation is what I would have liked to have given, but I wanted to find out more about the SP. Give a little, take a little, sort of thing. You gave him everything at once so now we'll probably never hear from OP again.

Works perfect, thanks!

I thought I read posts get moved to archiveserver often so that was probably my mistake, spending too much time banging on the kb over there when they're still over here (BUT the 2p2 date range boxes still seem goofy to me so that's my other excuse).
