Re: A few hands

[ QUOTE ] Thanks for the replies. The buyins were in the $4 range and no reads. [/ QUOTE ] 1. Push, but this is a fold at some higher buy-ins 2. Push, but the optimal play is really read dependant. Do you understand why? 3. Fold pre, if you do steal and get to where you are, check back on this flop and proceed from there. Jarid [/ QUOTE ] 3. so when I steal and get called, if I hit the board at all I should not cbet? Should I fold if he bets half pottish on turn? 2. Fold if he his raising range is very tight? |

Re: A few hands
Hand 1: fold... Can someone tell me how on earth this is a push? Raise, RR, MP2 calls t1905(of 2300)...
Hand 2: i like Hand 3: Seems fine, unless you have had some history. If you were aggro raise happy I would check behind. Otherwise bet/fold. |

Hand 3: Seems fine, unless you have had some history. If you were aggro raise happy I would check behind. Otherwise bet/fold. [/ QUOTE ]I agree with this. Personally, I am relatively tight on the button wrt stealing simply because everyone assumes you are stealing. Cbet is fine if you haven't given villian reason to think you are raising junk and betting every flop. Even if you are getting bluffed, it's pretty likely that he at least flopped a draw and you have no FE. If you haven't been overly aggro, I think you really need to bet the flop. The hands I like to check behind are when I have a draw or hit the flop hard enough that I don't mind giving a free card (i.e. AQ or JT). With A6, you're unlikely to improve and you don't want to call his bet on the turn so bet/fold flop. |
