I sat behind him (and the guy whose seats I was in said the he is pretty sure Jesse was confused and in the wrong seats) at a Twolves game a few years ago. Everything he said was really, really stupid.

he called a MN legislature a communist a few yrs back on-air and we all had to go to meetings about what you can and can't say on air and off air -

for example, on the air, you can say someone in the office is nicely dressed and looks pretty - off air it could be sexual harassment -

it was a major CYA moment by Hubbard's boys that said nothing - the next day Jesse had a fit for about 2 hrs - claiming he doesn't know what he can and can't say on air so he better not say nothing -

he was fired shortly thereafter - his ratings were in the tank - so they brought in someone else who did no better and kept Jesse under contract - then he ran for governator - good times - got to hang and chug a couple beers with him one night after I left the station at an employee's goodbye party, but never saw him after that.

We worked together only under the barest of definitions - my host used to spend the last 10 minutes of his show in there with him and they'd go at it -

one day she's interviewing a guy who's running for office and Jesse goes in there and starts shouting at him - he made sure to bring up the microphone so people could hear him - a real pro even when crashing someone else's show to bitch about their guest [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

damn wrestlers - you can also blame him for Arnold wanting to run - Arnold was here for the inaguration and got the idea from his old movie buddy jesse.

Not directed at me, but listening to the two of them wax philisophical made my ears bleed. They began talking about the stars and how 'crazy' they were. After about 30 seconds, it was clear that the brit/k-fed combo makes a team of monkey's soaring on LSD seem like Neitzsche.

No, I saw it, I just have an instinctive "WTF" reaction to people telling someone "quit acting black." Part of that is that it often presumes black=bad. Plus the westside sign is pretty universal at this point, and it's not innately offensive.
