Turn a nut flush in a limped pot on a paired board....
Villain is an unknown, I like a raise to $21 and calling a shove or pushing a raise. If villain wasn't in the big blind, or if i had a read on him being a decent player what is your line? is it still raise and call?

Re: Turn a nut flush in a limped pot on a paired board....
I am not an enormous fan of raising his turn bet as it makes us look very strong. Fortunately, there're several other strong hands that we beat that will give us lots of action, so let's go.

[/ QUOTE ] we could be drawing dead but at the same time there are a ton of worse hands that he'll call with. I will be sad if he pushes but i will still call. NH for line? |

raise and get money from his J holding, yea it looks strong, but flatting on turn is burning money

[/ QUOTE ] Yeh, if he pushes I don't think we can pass anymore though we basically have his holding down to Fh/Quads, a worse flush or him being dumb and liking his J a lot. That's sufficient to call though. |

No doubt. I contemplated any alternate line to just raising the turn and I really couldn't see any better lines to take. Thanks all.

Raise preflop, raise here, stack off.

Raise preflop, raise here, stack off. [/ QUOTE ] I'd say that PF is one of those spots where the difference between limping and raising is so marginal that it doesn't really matter what you do |
