I would rather wait for a perfected game and I thought they were rushing to the release date anyways.

All game demos of GTA IV so far have been run on 360 consoles. This is getting comical. PS3 strikes again.

I am sorry this is incorrect. There is no public demo of any kind. They had no demo at e3 and not even video with actual gameplay footage. We don't know if the game was too big for the 360 disc or if the game was running at a low FPS on the ps3. Also maybe they wanted to incorporate more into the multiplayer capability. To blame this on "either" system would be silly and foolish with little to no details released for the delay.

The 'trailers' that have been released were of in-game-footage captured from a 360, much like the Assassin's Creed 'trailers'. You implying disk space is a 'technological challenge', let alone one that takes 6 months to solve, is cute.

It's pretty hard not to see what this quote is saying: ..Certain elements of development proved to be more time-intensive than expected, especially given the commitment for a simultaneous release on two very different platforms. Development began first on the 360. The 360 is a whole heck of alot easier to develop for. You'd have to seriously try to not be able to see what's happening.
