Default 3/6 Taking an interesting line with TPTK

Villan is ericberen (Full Tilt) who I have at 21.1/17.7/3.46. I'm playing a standard TAG game right now, maybe a little nitty, but definitely 3-betting a lot. Here's the hand:

Full Tilt Poker, $3/$6 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

Hero (BB): $600
UTG: $621
MP: $681.90
CO: $600
BTN: $615.45
SB: $594.95

Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG folds, MP raises to $21, 3 folds, Hero raises to $66, MP calls $45

Flop: ($135) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $100, MP calls $100

Turn: ($335) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, MP checks

River: ($335) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $100, MP raises to $515.90 and is All-In

My logic behind this small bet was I wanted to make it look like a blocking bet that gives him room to bluff. I figured he was probably calling the flop with a lot of hands and might be turning them into a bluff fearing he may be behind. How does that sound?

i assume you double barrel this ace on the turn so you probably should bet it here.

3-bet more PF. that size is pretty bad imo. I bet the turn here.

What are you attempting to do on the river here with that weak bet?

Edit- what do you do on a blank turn? say like offsuit 3?

I really don't like double barreling this turn with our whole range; Ax represents a very small portion of our 3bet range and he can exploit us accordingly. I don't think the A scares villain as much as you'd think, if he's relatively solid. If I am DB'ing the turn with air, I'm definetely shoving the river.

Given the flow of the game I was definitely firing a second barrel. I bet small on the river because I figured he would think he was behind now so I was trying to give him room to bluff.

So if it doesn't scare him as much as we think, shouldn't we be betting since he will call us semi-lightly? And if you are double barelling this turn card with air, why not bet it when we hit it? We have to balance our ranges man...

I like the DB as played, but not so much with air.
