Default Where can I go to find the open of a stock from day 1?

ie, I want to find what red hat linux opened up at when it was first offered to the public (98) i think, compared to what it is at now. Ie if someone could tell me how much 1k would be right now, where would i look that up. thanks

I don't know about its IPO price; but, it opened for trading on 8/11/99 at $23.00 (adjusted for split). $1000 bought then would be worth $1023 today.

BTW, it peaked on 12/8/99 (~4 months after trading begain and shorty before its 2:1 split) at $151.315 (adjusted for split). Almost exactly 1 year later (12/7/2000) it traded at $5.00. What a ride!

I remember it opened at 55 and closed at 82 (not split adjusted of course, just funny the things you remeber off the top of your head.)
